The Role

We are looking for a marketing leader that thrives in a fast paced, high-energy environment. Someone who loves a challenge, solving problems, being part of a high performing team, and collaborating with other members of the marketing, product marketing and management team.

As the director of the web, you will have overall responsibility for our marketing website including design, implementation and performance. You will ensure the website adheres to current best practices while continually testing and innovating to ensure the website delivers on its performance goals and delivers an amazing user experience. You will also have a strong influence across all our web properties, working cross functionally with other stakeholders to ensure visitors have an on-brand excellent user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Be an active member of the marketing team and ensure that marketing delivers to our growth plans
  • Collaborate with senior members of the Marketing team to build and own the website strategy
  • Ensure the website can scale as the business scales
  • Lead, build and motivate a team of individuals and agencies to meet audacious goals
  • Work with key constituents across the company to actively managing website projects to successful completion on time and on budget
  • Work cross functionally with other web property owners to ensure users have an on- brand excellent user experience
  • Ensure alignment with our overall IT strategy and implementation guidelines
  • Oversee budgets and analyze the effectiveness of website campaigns to determine ROI and prioritize resources
  • Pull daily/weekly reports/analysis on website performance
  • Develop high-quality, high-performance, maintainable front-end code including re-usable components for dynamic content that perform on desktop and mobile devices
  • Build and execute website Q/A processes to ensure flawless web page/project launches
  • Work effectively at all levels, across functions and geographies

Preferred qualifications/skills
  • 15+ years of B2B/B2C website experience
  • Experience building plans and getting cross functional buy-in
  • Experience building, motivating and running high performing teams and agencies
  • Experience building processes that allow the team to scale, be agile and efficient
  • Experience in web and mobile UI/UX and branding
  • Ability to work among and drive projects across different departments
  • Ability to define and manage a budget
  • Excellent project management/detailed oriented
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn and do Hippo CMS development
  • Experience doing A/B testing for key initiatives and pages
  • Experience running SEO projects
  • Excellent verbal, written and Google slides communication skills
