Job Description:

Our Platform Services team provides integrated product solutions to our customers. From managing partner relationships and representing WO on industry standards committees, the Vice President of Platform Services will have a deep understanding of our software, our position in the media industry and the value for our customers. This key leadership role will make sure the Platform business is profitable and well supported, we are providing value to customers, and the people on the team are successful and thriving.

Beyond making the division they oversee successful, we expect our VP's to set the standard for success and model the culture of WideOrbit. Here is what you'll be doing:

Own and drive a successful P&L, including: review, evaluate and set financial goals and identify cost-saving measures. Reviews Platform Services' performance against operating plans.

Understand, review, and stay updated with the trends and movements within the general market, including competitive and public information.

Model potentially new partnerships or products and assist in negotiations of financial and legal terms.

Lead and demonstrate strong project management of integration work, including: product development and launch, roadmap development, client onboarding, operational processes and staffing.

Provide strategic direction for all aspects of the Platform Services functions, including existing and future integrations, products and services: WO Financial Suite (Payments & Lockbox), Radio Interchange and WO Data API.

Create the value proposition for Platform Services and work with marketing to develop material that will help establish business opportunities for the products you manage.

Manage the communications flow between WO teams to encourage collaboration and exceed the goals of the product.

Define and recommend objectives for departments under the Platform Services umbrella. Develop specific plans and programs ensuring goals are aligned with WideOrbit company objectives.

Participate and lead WO's presence on industry standards initiatives; leading where appropriate.

Increase the value of employee output and maximize the company's profitability through high standards and clear goals.

Communicate Platform Services successes and best practices with the Executive Team. You'll report directly to WideOrbit's Chief Operating Office.

Here is what we're looking for:

10+ years of experience within experience in media systems at a technology, media organization.

5+ years of experience in leadership role within a sales or business development function.

Bachelors of Arts or Science in Business or related degree.

Ability to work autonomously, and mobilize others to action.

Strong analytical background that can organize data to access opportunity, strategic benefits and revenue models.

Knowledge of media ecosystem and ability to articulate WO's position with partners and customers.

Inter-level and inter-departmental communication is important, so superior written and verbal communication skills are essential in this position.

Knowledge of digital and linear ad technology, integration and API technology is highly preferred.

Adept in team building and the reorganization of staff and management into cohesive, motivated teams.

Past experience managing and scaling a product and/or business preferred.
