SwiftStack is looking for a proven software sales professional focusing on new account and territory development in the West. You will bring a combination of sales and technical skills plus domain expertise in IT Infrastructure software, ideally in storage or cloud architectures.

As a Territory Account Executive, you will work closely with our customers, prospects, and partners. You will also collaborate with SwiftStack's engineering, marketing and support teams to ensure that our customers are successful with their private and multi-cloud data initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative in successfully driving sales in your accounts - from prospecting and delivering presentations to negotiating and closing deals
  • Work directly with Sales Leadership and Marketing to develop comprehensive strategies to ensure maximum pipeline and revenue growth in your territory
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of SwiftStack's technology and product offering, our go-to-market strategy and where we fit in our space - and be able to effectively communicate that to prospects
  • Directly sell into medium and large corporations targeting customers in our designated use cases
  • Deliver against individual quota assignments
  • Ensure that prospects have been well qualified and proper expectations have been set
  • Utilize internal CRM tools to track activities and tasks and manage ongoing prospect and customer communication
  • Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape in your territory
  • Balance strategic and tactical pursuits in the territory to optimize coverage and develop a predictable revenue stream in current and future quarters
  • Forecast accurately, manage your opportunity pipeline, prepare and deliver account reviews to senior management, and provide feedback on progress and roadblocks to the sales, engineering and marketing teams



REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years sales experience in enterprise software sales with a strong infrastructure background
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota
  • Consultative, solution sales background
  • Experience in storage, cloud infrastructure and/or web-scale application technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Subscription license sales experience
  • Startup experience is highly desired

  • Understanding of storage domain and market
  • Technical background
  • Familiarity with Media, Life Sciences, Modern Application, and Data Protection Use Cases
  • Experience selling Hybrid Cloud Solutions
