Centrify is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our outstanding Technical Support team, providing world class support to our growing list of enterprise customers. As our ideal candidate, you must have a proven track record and be an energetic self-starter with a desire to learn new things quickly. You must have an enterprise software background, with a focus on previously supporting security or identity management software and/or Mac security or management software. Successful candidates will provide support for the Application Services product, which improves end-user productivity and secures access to cloud, mobile and on-premises apps via single sign-on, user provisioning and multi-factor authentication. Supports internal users (employees, contractors) and external users (partners, customers). Manage apps, mobile devices and Macs via Active Directory, LDAP or cloud identity stores.

  • Provide both post and pre-sales phone and email support for Centrify Application Services customers
  • Meet/exceed customer expectations on response frequency, quality and overall experience
  • Resolve customer reported issues and drive process/policy improvements through root cause analysis
  • Manage high-profile escalations to resolution, communicating effectively with internal and field teams
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams: engineering, technical operations, product management, and quality assurance.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers & Consultants to ensure successful customer software deployments
  • Participate in projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of the support team
  • Participate in scheduled weekend on-call support as needed
  • Respond to technical support forums

Experience and Skills:
  • BS degree or equivalent (BS degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering is a plus)
  • At least 5 years of technical support or system administration experience with enterprise software
  • At least 1 year of experience of either:
    • Supporting Mac OS X in an enterprise environment
    • Administering Office 365 (or Microsoft Exchange)
  • "In-depth" knowledge of Active Directory; forests, domains, trusts, and implementing group policies
  • Understanding of iOS, Android, and mobile device management (MDM) technologies
  • Working knowledge of SaaS and Mobile concepts
  • Fundamental understanding of network troubleshooting and mail flow
  • Ability to s et up and replicate customer environments in a lab environment

Good to have Experience and Skills:
  • Experience with MS Exchange to Office 365 migrations
  • Knowledge of Java, Windows PowerShell, VB, or .NET scripting/coding
  • Experience supporting cloud applications such as Google Apps, Box, Fitbit, NetSuite, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft LYNC, SharePoint, Azure, Yammer, SharePoint Online
  • Acquainted with Single Sign-on concepts, SAML is especially helpful
