The Role

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to work across our entire Engineering organization. In this role you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end, driving project schedules from inception to release, and iterating after launch.

Join Outreach as the first TPM to pave the path of technical excellence and effective project management. Initial focus will be on the Platform team to enable our developers to contribute more easily and scale our platform for a growing customer base. Some of the other areas that you will drive to impact include: voice solutions, third party API integrations, data stream pipelines, infrastructure upgrades, and continuous integration improvements.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

Project manage complex and large scale cross-team, cross-functional initiatives.

Manage high paced projects through collaboration with cross-functional team members, interfacing with external groups, including customer facing roles, and defining milestones to manage successful outcomes.

Continuous progress tracking and ensuring risks are mitigated with proper communication to upward channels

Work closely with the project teams to ensure alignment and achieve success.

Technical submersion into the platform, to understand the architecture and propose technical solutions and alternatives.

Creating continuous feedback loops for clear and understood priorities and transparent actions taken.

Our Vision Of You

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent experience

3+ years of technical program/project management experience in a software, SaaS, or systems development environment.

Experience managing and successfully delivering large scale software development projects

Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects with multiple dependencies and constraints

Ability to communicate effectively and establish credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders including executive staff

Focus on execution and delivery in a data-informed environment

Preferred Experience

Worked at a high paced, fast growing, scrappy tech startup.

Developer experience, including writing, testing and deploying code.
