Webroot is seeking a talented and driven technical sales professional to join our team. As Technical Account Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering on the company's alliances with managed services provider (MSP) aggregators and our mutual MSP partners. You will work as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team responsible for executing on and taking care of our go-to-market strategy between aggregator and MSP. This is a complex role that involves understanding and managing many elements both internal to Webroot, with the aggregator, and at the street-level MSP partner side of our business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments across Webroot, including Sales Operations, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Support, and Development. The successful candidate must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships, possess superb oral and written communication skills, strong technical aptitude, and demonstrate a comprehensive ability to drive 'big picture' goals while at the same time satisfying smaller, partner-level daily requirements.

Activities and Responsibilities

Take a true hospitality-driven approach to working with our alliance and MSP partners

Proficiency at sales and deeper technical levels on all Webroot MSP products, RMM, and PSA alliance solutions. Ability to explain and demonstrate these solutions and the underlying technology at business and technical levels

Represent Webroot at partner events, joint marketing events and conferences, and other field activities including MSP partner on-site visits

Work cross organizationally to meet daily partner requirements (sales, technical enablement, training, licensing setup) while also driving core business deliverables (support process, licensing management, sales data reporting, marketing activities)

Understand and implement the Webroot sales model to deliver clear and predictable results

Achieve sales targets on a quarterly basis

Desired Skills and Experience

8+ years of related industry experience with a background in technical sales or project management

Hospitality-driven work ethic

Self-motivated and comfortable working in the dynamic atmosphere of a security technology organization. Results-driven and detail-oriented, proven track record achieving business objectives

Thoughtful, precise, and well-crafted written and oral communication and presentation skills

Strong technical aptitude with fundamental understanding of IT systems focusing on feature demonstration, troubleshooting, and ultimately knowing when to escalate for quickest resolution

Ability to think strategically as well as tactically about the bigger needs of the account environment while also able to switch over to satisfying 'street level' daily needs

Deep CRM and licensing systems experience to decipher partner need and translate how to get internal processes and systems to accomplish the task

Experience directly assisting external clients assessing and implementing solutions and programs

Accurately translate high-level customer requirements into success criteria

High-level knowledge of security threats such as: Ransomware, Trojans, Botnets, DDOS, Phishing

Ability to work proactively to reach agreed sales targets.

Travel up to 25%
