You will leverage your programming/software engineering skills to work as the liaison between multiple stakeholders (sales, systems engineering, product management and product development) and solve a wide variety of product challenges for our customers. The OEM sales and pre/post sales systems engineering teams will rely on you to envision and execute unique product implementations, diagnose and resolve complex support issues, and serve as an expert in understanding and articulating opportunities for future product features and enhancements. You bring to the table:

7+ years of experience in software engineering is preferred
Professional experience using C, C++, and Python
Proficiency in both Windows and variants of Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, FreeBSD, Ubuntu)
Experience using and developing web services via REST APIs
Knowledge of real-world application of technical threat intelligence (IP, Web, File, App)
Experience with Agile software development and associated tools (Jira)
Ability to work within a team environment; strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a customer facing role to understand requirements, develop solutions and resolve support issues
Extra Skills and Experience:

You need not have experience/expertise in all of these areas. That said, if you have this experience it is a strong plus, and you would need to have the ability/desire to learn and grow in these areas as well.

Experience with Amazon's EC2 infrastructure and deployment
Distributed software frameworks (Hadoop, Spark)
Knowledge of cloud security technologies and practices, including experience with AWS technologies (EC2, ELB, S3, and Cloudwatch)
Networking and Security, including experience with any of the following security solutions: NGFW, SIEM, IDS, IPS, and/or Endpoint Security
Understanding of exploits and malware
Knowledge in HTML, JavaScript (Node.JS desired)
CompTIA Security+ or CISSP Certification
Experience building real-time, multi-threaded software applications in C++
Experience building RESTful APIs
Previous experience in sales engineering, technical professional services, or technical consulting role
