Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics and Data Science

This role will lead Centrify's Marketing Data Strategy & Analytics function within Global Marketing Operations and craft an innovative vision for extending our analytical capabilities to provide deep insight into Marketing activities, content and programs to increase transparency, optimize spend, and improve results. In addition, this role will lead the development and execution of campaign touch attribution reporting, propensity modeling, customer analytics through partnerships with Sales Operations, IT, Finance, Digital Marketing and Field/Channel Marketing leaders. The role also oversees the development and/or introduction of analytics platforms, data foundation and tools that underlay our B2B demand creation and support campaign touch analytics throughout the customer lifecycle. Regularly interface with global marketing functions and regional & division Sales and Marketing teams to agree on marketing contribution goals and attribution model, campaign KPIs, and end-to-end campaign ROI. This position requires a dynamic, strategic, and analytical individual who can influence and build stellar relationships both with internal stakeholders and external partners. An individual will also possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and has experience managing and growing a marketing analytics and data science practice.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Marketing Insight & Analysis

Create advanced and predictive models to support advanced targeting and ideal mix; predictive insight around buyer journey, target account selection and propensity to buy model

Own and execute a multi-phased analytics roadmap including Deal DNA, campaign attribution; refine/extend existing business intelligence dashboards supporting all levels of the Marketing organization including CMO dashboard

Actively monitor and analyze health of marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition & penetration, and contact acquisition.

Support key verticals via specialized projects that require deep analysis, and support A/B testing through web analytics, advanced data mining, data manipulation, statistics, Macro programming, and information retrieval and data analytics including data classification, text mining and search algorithms.

Work closely with product marketing team to identify key business requirements and metrics, interpret data and develop processes to share findings on content effectiveness.

Own marketing QBR analysis and company operating book metrics

Marketing Database management

Ensure end to end data readiness from advanced marketing insight/analytics

Manage the overall health and governance of marketing data. Engage with team as subject matter expert in critical systems, processes, and databases.

Drive marketing database strategy; develop tools and practices that mine customer and point of sale information to identify revenue opportunities. Own maintenance, segmentation, acquisition, standardization, and health of the Marketo marketing database.

Participate company wide data initiative around customer data hub; represent marketing in cross-functional data committees and boards.

Responsible for all integration points and data flow between Marketo and other systems such as SFDC, community, web and other databases.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics or related field, and 5+ years relevant work experience required with proven track record of involvement with data analytics and business intelligence at both the leadership and technical/operational levels.

Proven statistical analysis and modeling experience with expertise in analytical techniques and their applications to marketing.

Strong leader who has built and mentored high-performing marketing analytics teams

Experience with building statistical models highly preferred

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business leaders

In-depth knowledge and the ability to analyze revenue intelligence including navigating the web, digital media landscape, traditional demand funnel and account-based funnel insights

Demonstrated successful track record of creating strategies that drive customer acquisition, managing the entirety of the marketing funnel.

Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations and communicate complex data concepts in ways that marketing leaders and the wider organization will understand.

Experience working with data management tools and strong understanding of best practices required. Experience working directly with IT on database management preferred. and Marketo proficiency is required

Experience working with visualization software such as Tableau is required.

Strong communication skills. Ability to hold large presentations, lead workshops and meetings, and conduct one-on-one conversations with people who have different levels of understanding and experience interpreting analytics.

Ability to act as a player/coach and drive his/her own projects while also coaching their team on how to execute programs in such a way as to maximize time, resources and budget.
