Outreach is looking for an experienced Security Architect to partner with our CISO in maturing and managing Outreach's security programs and associated tooling. You will be responsible for working across teams, primarily Product, Engineering and IT to secure our customers' data. You think like a hacker, but understand our greatest risk is internal. Recommend ways to improve and update the security of the company's endpoints.

Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols

Set up countermeasures that protect the system when an unauthorized user attempts to gain access to the system.

Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents

Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

Requirements

5-7 years of proven work experience as a security architect or engineer with experience in network, server and application security

Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols

Proven success in customer-facing security roles is critical

Experience in building and maintaining security systems within AWS including network technologies and monitoring tools

Expertise in web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols

Experience and expertise with ethical hacking, secure coding practices and threat modeling

Must have solid working experience and knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems - Ubuntu a plus

Understanding of controls and cross-company roles needed to support regulatory audits

Experience with CASB, ThreatStack, bug bounties, Crowdstrike, and AWS native security tools a plus

What We Do

Outreach is a communication platform built from the ground up to help people communicate more effectively. Today we focus on the sales organization, helping them engage with their prospects and customers through email, calling and LinkedIn communication flows. To put it into perspective, our customers spend the majority of their day living inside our software, relying on it to be more effective communicators with their audience. We think it's pretty cool that we get to build the communication platform of the future.

Outreach was founded in 2014, and we are now over 200 employees strong. Since our first days learning about how people communicate, we became obsessed with understanding our customers' problems and, as a result, we've built by far the most loved product on the market, and have won the hearts and minds (and business) of companies around the world.

While we've been busy creating a product that our users cherish, we've received $60 million in venture funding and we've been recognized as:

Seattle Best Places to Work 2017
