Sales Operations Manager

We've grown our Sales team significantly over the last year and as we continue that growth, we're ready for a Sales Operations Manager to join the team and help drive sales productivity. In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing and, of course, with the Sales team to ensure our sales processes are optimal and use analytical data to suggest improvements across our GTM strategy, the systems we use and our overall sales process.

Our ideal candidate has a data driven, analytical mindset.

This role is based out of our San Francisco office. Local candidates please.

What you'll be doing:
  • Salesforce
    • Provide administrative and day to day operations support
    • Design and implement reports & dashboards that track key business metrics
    • Ensure accuracy in the data and implement processes that increase quality and relevance of data
    • Implement processes and workflows that increase visibility into the sales process and tracking of the process
    • Implement reporting that helps sales analyze and track their leads, contacts and accounts.
  • Sales process
    • Align a maturing sales process to the tools (SFDC/Marketo..etc) and instrumentation needed to proactively drive and measure a fast growing business
    • Review our tools and processes, making recommendations for improvements.
    • Implement tools that help in the sales process including lead/account/contact cleansing, enrichment and the like.
    • Recommend and deploy sales tools that provide lead and account insight.
    • Facilitate and enhance the bookings forecast process
  • Data Mining and Insight
    • With a high level of curiosity, conduct ad-hoc analyses on customer/user data, sales/performance data, pipeline health, account penetration, etc. Have the ability to identify actionable insights
    • Use tools like Tableau for detailed analysis and information sharing
  • Partner with Marketing on metrics around lead generation, conversion, etc.
  • Partner with Finance on accurate data, reporting, optimizing the deal desk, etc
  • Work with the VP of Sales on forecasting revenue, churn and trends

Your skills and experience:
  • Expert on Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, process builder, workflows, triggers, etc) and proven experience in implementing sales processes in SFDC (like MEDDIC, BANT, etc)
  • A passion for digging into data to analyze trends, roadblocks, opportunities, forecasts
  • Practical knowledge on BI tools such as Tableau for additional analytics and reporting
  • Previous startup experience, able and willing to roll up your sleeves and jump in, not afraid of change
  • Expert on Excel
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and inspire the same in those you work with
  • Excellent at building relationships at all levels, across teams
  • At least 5 years of Sales Operations experience
