TrustRadius ( is changing how business software is bought and sold and we're looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and sales-minded Business Development Associate to join our thriving team. In this position you'll be tasked to qualify inbound leads as well as research and help to build sales plays for the Sales Development team. This is a great entry-level position for anyone interested in starting a sales career.

Specific responsibilities include:

Qualify and engage inbound leads in timely manner based on ideal customer profile criteria.

Data steward inbound leads not targeted for sales engagement into the appropriate marketing nurture campaigns.

Research targeted accounts to identify key players and inside sales angles (competitors, product reviews on the site, etc.)

Create sales assets for the Sales Development Reps to use in outreach

Prospect new accounts that fit the profile or are competitors to existing accounts

Input and track all activity in

Report on sales opportunities in and track their progress


Successful track record of sustained achievement of targets in an inside sales/customer success role or equivalent

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and highly self-motivated

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working within a team atmosphere

A genuine desire to learn sales and a strong drive to develop a promising career

Ability to identify potential sales opportunities with strong attention to detail a must experience a plus

Bachelor's degree preferred

Genuine interest in working for a startup
