Outreach is a communication platform built from the ground up to help people communicate more effectively. Today we focus on the sales organization, helping them engage with their prospects and customers through email, calling and LinkedIn communication flows.

To put it into perspective, our customers spend the majority of their day living inside our software, relying on it to be more effective communicators with their audience. We think it's pretty cool that we get to build the communication platform of the future; a product that our users cherish.

Outreach was founded in 2014, and we are now over 200 employees strong. Since our first days learning about how people communicate, we became obsessed with understanding our customers' problems, and as a result, we've built by far the most loved product on the market, and have won the hearts and minds (and business) of some incredible organizations around the world.

The Role
We are looking for a Regional VP of Sales who will be able scale with this fast-growing organization. You will lead our efforts to build our culture to attract and retain the best employees and customers. As a member of the executive team, you will be responsible for employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, staffing and much more. The person successful in this role will have a passion for building and maintaining high performing organizations, be a "hands on" generalist who is not only naturally data driven, and a strategic thinker with a doer attitude understanding the value and importance of company culture and happy employees. They will thrive in the fast-pace environment of a startup, and is able to execute on large initiatives, while wearing multiple hats.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include
Supports direct reports (7-12 Account Executives) by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required. #1 job is helping reps close business.
Ongoing development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new reps on the Outreach sales process. #2 job is to make reps better so you don't have to do so much of #1 job.
Conducts weekly forecast meetings. Coaches direct reports re: strategies to drive closure.
Reports on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.
Consistently monitors the sales activity of the team, and tracks the results.
Serve as an active member of the leadership team and build strong, collaborative relationships throughout the Sales, Support, Pre-Sales, and Success organizations.
Collaborate with sales enablement, marketing, product and technology business leaders to ensure optimal support of sales activity.
Assess the needs of our customers and gather user feedback to improve upon existing solutions and design and iterate sales process and operations.

Our Vision Of You
5+ years of outstanding results in leading sales organizations delivering new customer growth.
Experience in building Sales organization structure, process and measurement focus.
Results-driven coach, mentor and role model who manages and develops best-in-class talent and drives group results through teamwork and individual performance improvement.
Proven ability driving process improvements while leveraging strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated, proven success in lead generation, prospecting, contract negotiation and closing customers.
Proven ability to build positive relationships and influence. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent.
Experience leveraging
Proven record of success in a high volume transaction sales environment. Experience selling to the enterprise.
