Job Description:

WideOrbit is looking for a savvy Product Manager with a hands-on attitude to join our WO Digital Hub Product team in New York. In this role, think of yourself as a product evangelist that bridges the technical and business worlds that our customers need and love. You'll lead the roadmap for a product which includes making go live commitments, handling multiple projects and strategizing on releases.

Successful product managers will know how to come up with creative solutions and have the confidence and presentation skills to sell the solution to a customer. WO Digital Hub is an all-in-one Order Management System that helps media companies manage their entire Ad sales cycle from opportunity and order to invoice and reporting. Our solution is perfect for digital and print publishers with multiple ad servers, outlets and properties and who need to track orders, order lines and traffic across multiple systems.

Here is what you'll be doing:

  • Write WO Digital Hub documentation pertinent to internal personnel and external customers. Own and create feature specification documents.
  • Provide training material for implementation, pre-sale and new hires.
  • Answer technical questions and partner with the Sales team throughout the sales process.
  • Perform demonstrations internally and to new prospects in a meaningful and relevant way.
  • Drive product meetings, customer conversations, project goals and timelines while representing WideOrbit in a positive and professional manner.
  • Understand pain points of customers and research market data and software competition to identify software needs and define features to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with development resources to ensure delivery timing of new features and their quality.
  • Provide input and thoughtful ideas contributing to the overall success of the product.
  • Guide multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while effectively managing change of scope or timelines.


Here is what we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of business analysis, product management or product marketing experience. Experience in the Media or Media Software industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the product management lifecycle and what is involved to take a product from inception design to launch
  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in French is highly desirable.
  • Shows confidence evangelizing and selling WideOrbit's products and services
  • Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently, to present ideas to others and make convincing arguments for the direction of our products
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities tasks in a rapidly changing environment to deliver products on time
  • Exhibits a hands-on and independent problem-solving attitude
  • Knows how to proactively collaborate with others to reach common goals
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to develop, motivate, and inspire team members
  • Exhibit grace under pressure and constantly changing environment



Location:

This position will be based in our New York, NY office.
