ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a full-time Product Designer to join our UX team. The Product Designer will work closely with Researchers, Product Managers and Engineers to build simple user centered digital experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Help conceptualize the future of the ClassPass web and native app experiences.
  • Execute and deliver elegant solutions from sketches, to fully functional prototypes ready for engineering handoff.
  • Work with research team to test and validate decision through in person and remote testing.
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure functional, interaction, and design requirements are met during development.
  • Promote a strong feedback culture by both giving and receiving constructive and actionable feedback.

You are a team player who rolls up their sleeves and gets their hands dirty. You gracefully solve problems under pressure while checking your ego at the door. You are know for a fine-tuned aesthetics, amazing storytelling, a critical eye and an obsession with perfection.

  • You have mastery of typography and love grid systems
  • You are comfortable sketching on whiteboards and adjusting icons at 1600% zoom
  • Someone who is obsessively detail-oriented, a self-starter, and an aficionado of iterating
  • You understand the nuances of both the Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design specifications
  • You have learned by experience that no design survives user testing untouched, and you thrive in iterating from user feedback

Qualifications:
  • A design portfolio that demonstrates strong problem solving, interaction and visual design skills
  • 3-5 years of digital design experience
  • A degree in a related field
  • Experience shipping responsive web and native app experiences
  • Strong communication skills - you are able to clearly articulate your design decisions
  • Familiar with the AGILE working process and able to work closely with Product Managers and front-end developers
  • Proficiency with Sketch, Invision and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • BONUS: Proficiency in Framer, Principle, Origami, etc
  • BONUS: Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • BONUS: Experience with running and synthesizing UX research
