As the Payroll Manager in the finance team, you will play a key role in developing Poshmark's international payroll and equity program for our rapidly growing Company. You will be responsible for processing and ensuring accuracy of our semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll. In addition, you will own the day-to-day administration of Poshmark's equity plan and play a key role in the equity software implementation project. Job Description:

  • Process bi-weekly & semi-monthly for exempt & non-exempt employees in ADP.
  • Verify accuracy of payroll processing for India & Canada subsidiaries.
  • Ensure payments related to employee updates such as new hires, promotions and termination are processed accurately & timely.
  • Maintain and reconcile payroll related general ledger accounts.
  • Work with outside CPA firm on 401k and financial audit.
  • Assist FP&A by providing detail on payroll fluctuations.
  • Partner with HR team to ensure all employee changes are captured completely & timely.
  • Manage and reconcile carriers invoices with employees' elections to ensure withholdings are accurately deducted.
  • Develop, maintain & document corporate policies, continuously improve and standardize payroll processes and internal controls.
  • Payroll software administration, improve system and monitor metrics.
  • Stay up to date on new guidance and ensure federal, state, local & international payroll tax compliance.
  • Point of contact for employees payroll inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Oversee equity program for domestic & international employees.
  • Assist in the selection and manage equity software implementation, and system administration.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure grants, exercises and cancellations are processed accurately.
  • Partner with legal firm and HR on equity related transactions.
  • Prepare and reconcile capitalization tables and equity roll-forward reports.
  • Develop, maintain, document, continuously improve corporate policies and internal controls.
  • Point of contact for employees equity inquiries.
  • Prepare forms required by government agencies.
  • Prepare & distribute year end tax statements for equity transactions.
  • Ensure proper payroll taxation related to equity for payroll processing.
  • Keep up to date on new guidance and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.
  • 8 years of full cycle payroll & 5 years of equity administration for global programs.
  • Experience using ADP and implementation a huge plus.
  • Experience utilizing and implementing equity management software.
  • Organized, can problem solve and knows where to find answers.
  • Excellent communication and customer service to effectively work with all levels of employees as well as outside business partners and tax agencies.
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state and local tax laws, wage & hour laws, benefits, 401k plans.
  • SOX/COSO framework familiarity a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
