Description
Mammoth is seeking a talented, motivated Office Manager to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is exceptionally skilled in time-management and organization; able to adapt between daily routine tasks and multiple ongoing projects in a dynamic start-up environment; and has prior experience in the biotech or research industry. The Office Manager will report to the Chief of Staff.
Responsibilities
  • Provide scheduling support for management team, and maintain general company calendar
  • Manage travel arrangements for team and guests
  • Serve as primary onsite contact person (receiving visitors/deliveries, directing calls/correspondence, provide meeting support)
  • Support company-wide event-planning needs, including internal lab meetings, retreats, parties, interviews, Board meetings, and hosting visitors
  • General office administration tasks, including but not limited to light accounts payable, recruiting/onboarding administration, electronic file maintenance, general IT support, ordering office and lunchroom supplies, etc.
  • Ensure efficient administrative adaptation to support our growing team
  • Special projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years experience in biotech industry and/or startup environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • High standard of professionalism and exceptional integrity
  • Experience or expertise in accounts payable, HR or recruiting a huge plus
