We are searching for an experienced Influencer Marketing Manager to play a key role in driving growth of communities. Massdrop is home to 20+ enthusiast communities ranging from Audiophile and Mech Keys to Cooking and Knitting. We have built an audience of 5M+ users largely without a dedicated marketing team, and are looking for someone who is eager to be part of creating a team and strategy to bring Massdrop to more members and communities.

In this role, you will own digital growth efforts and strategy for influencer marketing. Because of our community driven approach, discussion platform, and the number and frequency of products we release, Massdrop is an unusually great fit with the influencer marketing channel. We have seen initial success working with one-off influencers on authentic and impactful campaigns, and are looking for someone who is excited to help us develop and execute a strategy for expanding those efforts. The ideal candidate is a marketing professional with several years of experience working with influencers and social media. To be in this role you'll need to be a data-driven individual who works well under pressure, is a great storyteller, and is a dedicated, ambitious individual.

Here's what you'll do as part of the team:
  • Develop and execute strategy for influencer marketing channel, including managing budget and growth KPI's
  • Lead marketing campaigns with influencers from ideation to execution and analysis
  • Build out an influencer program to enable the influencer channel to be a core piece of Massdrop's acquisition efforts
  • Manage efforts and campaigns across other channels (CPA, SEM, SEO, referral, traditional media, etc.)
  • Coordinate and implement A/B testing, analyze, and report on performance of campaigns against growth KPI's
  • Build relationships with key influencers and core community members to deeply understand both of these groups and use that understanding to more impactful and valuable marketing efforts

And these are the experience and skills you'll need to be successful:
  • 1-3 years of data-driven digital marketing experience
  • Proven experience working on growth initiatives with influencers and social media
  • Experience working in internet commerce preferred
  • Data-driven decision maker, able to easily navigate goal setting, analysis, and reporting of campaigns
  • Able to balance an analytical approach, a deep empathy for users, and creativity for trying new things
  • Personable, friendly, and a great sense of humor - you'll be the face of Massdrop for our influencers
  • Demonstrated ability to produce successful results in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of advanced analytics software
  • Advanced knowledge of emerging trends in online, mobile and social media
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational thinking
