At Skilljar, we are experiencing triple-digit growth and are looking for an Account Development Manager that wants to bring their drive and experience to the table, be part of an explosive growth company, enjoy customer education and have fun with a great team.

In this role, you will own exceeding pipeline generation targets as well as growing an Account Development team. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve pipeline targets and expand Skilljar's customer base. As the Account Development Manager, you will be a strategic thinker with exceptional strategic, commercial, and cross-functional skills, and have Account / Sales Development Management experience.

Responsibilities
    • Manage & build a team of 8-10 Account (Sales) Development Representatives.
    • Ongoing mentoring and development of the Account Development team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Account Development Reps on the pipeline development process.
    • Ability to build and execute on the pipeline plan.
    • Set and manage ADR quotas.
    • Conducting weekly forecast meetings and coaching direct reports regarding strategies to drive conversions from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) & build quality pipeline.
    • Reviewing Account Development Reps Quarterly Business Objectives and working with them on achieving those objectives.
    • Reporting on activity and conversions to Sales, Marketing, Management & Finance.
    • Consistent monitoring of team activity goals and tracking the results.
    • Motivational leader that is capable of leading a high performing Account Development team (inbound and outbound).
    • Able to think horizontally while collaborating with other leaders across the business to drive results (including Sales, Marketing & Finance).


Requirements
    • Ability to recruit lead and motivate high performing Account Development Reps to achieve desired pipeline and lead conversion goals.
    • Build and maintain a long term plan to drive predictable business.
    • The ability to influence executives, customers and partners.
    • 2 years of individual Account / Sales development experience
    • 3+ years of Account / Sales development management experience (preferably in a high growth SaaS environment).
    • Excellent presentation skills (remote and in person), including an ability to communicate at both a technical and a business level, developing trust and confidence with a wide variety of individuals within a customer organization.
    • Experience working in a fast paced startup environment preferred.
    • Strong drive to achieve results with minimal supervision.
    • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent years of related work experience (7+).
    • US work authorization and criminal background check are required.
