We are hiring a Lead Product Marketing Manager to own and craft the product narrative and help set the product strategy for the entire Crunchbase product line, including crunchbase.com, Crunchbase Pro, Crunchbase Marketplace, and Crunchbase Everywhere. In this role you'll be the go-to expert on our target audiences, their needs, and what motivates them to action. You'll be tasked with leading and defining our positioning, pricing, competitive analysis, and feature prioritization for all of our products.

Marketing at Crunchbase
The Crunchbase Marketing team is responsible for creating awareness, consideration, and demand generation for Crunchbase freemium and enterprise products. We also are stewards of our brand, and the voice of our customers to our internal stakeholders.

You will be the owner of all Crunchbase product marketing, including:
• Messaging and positioning: crafting the story that ties our products and features together in a way that appeals to our target audiences
• Go to market strategies and campaigns: Building the playbooks and plans that will help us bring our newest features to market, working in collaboration with our channel owners and product management
• Product strategy: helping develop and prioritize growth initiatives that drive up self-serve business growth
• Content creation: you'll be responsible for creating the written and multi-media assets that help tell the story of our products
• Audience and persona identification and segmentation: building insights that help us understand the psychographic and demographic traits of our target customers so that we can create products and marketing they value
• Competitive tracking: understanding what others in our space our doing, and who we're up against in the company intelligence market

Qualifications
• At least 6 years successful product marketing experience
• Experience with freemium business models, especially driving user engagement, user adoption, and revenue for a direct, online business model
• Previous experience in a high-growth startup requiring you to wear multiple hats
• Exceptional positioning, messaging, copywriting, and strategic storytelling skills
• Strong project management skills, with experience developing and executing marketing strategy successfully while collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus
• Ability to translate technical products into consumer-facing messaging
• Excellent communication skills
• Incredibly coachable personality
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
