Webroot are currently seeking a Junior Developer in Test to join our friendly, vibrant and recently refurbished office in Linz. Role and Responsibilities
  • Design, build and maintain UI and API automated testing frameworks and test suites.
  • Develop test cases/harnesses and test products to meet requirements using systematic programming and test design techniques.
  • Stay abreast of industry-wide changes in technology, programming techniques and new tools being used in the QA field
  • Develop and maintain performance testing framework
  • Provide comprehensive test plans and test documentation for minor and major product releases
  • Render detailed defect descriptions and support materials into the defect tracking system
  • Maintain a good relationship and interface with PM, Development and Support team
  • Carry out documentation reviews for technical publications
  • Work intimately with Dev and PM to help with defining and updating requirements..
  • Train and support fellow QAs in programming and test automation.
  • Liaise with the global test team to develop shared understanding and 'best' practice.


Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science related subject
  • Strong object-oriented programming experience ideally using C# .Net
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Commercial experience working in development, research or product testing.
  • Hands on experience of working with RESTful APIs either in a development or testing capacity.
  • Experience of working with automated test tools such as Selenium.
  • Experience of using Behaviour Driven Development tools such as SpecFlow or Cucumber
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • PowerShell scripting experience
  • Experience of working in an agile development environment.
  • ISTQB in Software Testing
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science related subject
