As the IT Support Engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to grow your own skills as we grow our IT team and create an amazing work experience for our colleagues. You get to work in a fast-paced but highly collaborative environment, you are the person who supports day-to-day operations, onboard new employees, assist with audio/video, build documentation, and provide general moral support and help the expanding needs of a a growing company.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as point of contact for and support of Poshmark employees in resolving issues with their computers, network and other IT/AV related issues
  • Document operations, processes, and IT solutions
  • Be point of contact for the IT Help Desk
  • Address all hardware needs such as device repairs, equipment challenges and upgrades
  • Manage the procurement and inventory of all necessary computer equipment & software
  • Coordinate tech setup needs for onboarding new hires, employee exits, building expansions, etc
  • Support administering IT-related policies and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Responsible for identifying IT infrastructure needs as we grow
Desired Skills
  • 3+ years as an in-house IT Support Tech, or equivalent experience
  • Associates Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and/or related experience - a plus
  • Understanding and practicing of IT Security best practices
  • Experience using and managing ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems, particularly JIRA and other Atlassian products
  • Sound knowledge of information and communications technology fundamentals
  • Ability to help Poshmark employees solve hardware and software problems with Apple and other hardware products including laptop, phones, accessories and OS X software
  • Experience with troubleshooting network issues in corporate network environment (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc)
  • Experience with setup and support printer system in a corporate environment
  • Experience with setup, managing, and support of AV systems in conference room and large meeting areas
  • Experience with implementing/managing/troubleshooting hosted productivity and communications applications, including but not limited to G-Suite, Dropbox, MS Office, OKTA or other SSO and other commonly used SaaS systems, and the ability to train and support employees on their use
  • Experience with Mac MDM tools (JAMF, Casper, Munki, Puppet)
  • Experience with purchasing, inventory management, and accounting
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • A positive, service-oriented attitude, with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Highly desired Skills:
    • Experience with a scripting language
    • Network+
    • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
    • Apple Certified Maintenance Technician (ACMT)
