Centrify is looking for an IT DevOps Engineer with heavy focus on system and process automation. This position will work closely with other IT Team Members and our business partners drive the design and implementation of quality technical solutions. Centrify is a mixed platform environment including but not limited to Active Directory, Workday, Workfront. Reporting to the Director of IT, this position will be responsible for the entire life cycle of their solutions, from requirements gathering, build, and ongoing support. This position must be able to adjust to constant business change; common types of changes include new requirements, evolving goals and strategies, and emerging technologies. DevOps Engineers require the ability to interact, develop, engineer, and communicate collaboratively at the highest technical levels with clients, vendors, partners.

Responsibilities:

Process Discovery and Automation:

Work with various functions and end users to identify and document existing business processes.

Own the technical design of the technologies required to streamline and automate processes identified above

Improve audit and reporting ability as an output of automation

Training and Documentation:

Develop training and documentation materials, and keep materials up to date

Train end users in best processes for use

Monitor use and adoption, and respond as needed (additional training sessions, communication, modifications or other resources) to improve

Planning:

Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications

Support:

Serve as Tier 1 support to diagnose and debug problems, for all end users, for all tools that you create

Reporting and auditing systems to ensure all systems are working and performing as designed

Required Skills:

Significant experience with current coding/scripting skills (One or more of python, java, ruby, perl, php, .net, powershell).

Experience with source controls systems such as Git, Stash, Subversion or Perforce.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.

Good time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively

A passion for technology and up-to-date with trends, new languages and design approaches in the IT space.
