Webroot is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Engineer to support our sales and marketing efforts. In this role, you will demonstrate and evangelize our award winning security solutions to MSPs, SMBs and channel partners and will assist in all aspects of the sales cycle, where necessary. The successful candidate will possess exceptional presentation and customer skills, technical depth in IT administration and cyber security technologies.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

Articulate the overall Webroot value proposition, vision and strategy to prospects and partners
Assist in increasing MSP and SMB adoption of Webroot solutions via sales webinars, best practice and product training sessions, primarily over the phone
Become highly proficient and knowledgeable with Webroot SMB Security products
Troubleshoot and solve technical issues and overcome objections
Maintain accurate records of customer communications, discussions and escalations in Salesforce
Some domestic travel required for training and corporate meetings in Colorado

Skills required or preferred but not limited to are:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience
2+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably small business or MSP (tech support, systems admin, help desk, systems engineering)
Professional experience with: Endpoint Antivirus, Microsoft OS (Windows 7, 8 or 10, Server and RDS), Mac OS, Corporate networking infrastructures including; DNS, group policy, Active Directory, VPN products and Virtual Environments (VMWare, Citrix, Hyper-V)
Training or public speaking experience is highly desirable
Ability to effectively communicate technical knowledge to technical and non-technical prospects
Must be a highly self-motivated professional with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and organization skills


Sales or customer service experience working with customers in a technical role
Knowledge or experience supporting Webroot SMB products
Basic skills with RMMs and scripting or programming languages
