Job Description:

WideOrbit's HR team is looking for a passionate, engaging and data driven Human Resources Business Partner to join this growing team. The HRBP acts as a consultant to our management team on training, employee development, and career growth for our greatest asset - our employees. The HRBP team aligns HR programs with business objectives to help drive the future success of WideOrbit.

Here are some things you will be doing:
  • Provide knowledgeable and objective advice, counsel and coaching to employees at various levels on inquiries and issues in the areas of conflict resolution, change management, employment/labor laws, and organizational development
  • Be a champion for HR initiatives and a driver of change by building solid relationships with management, execs and employees
  • Collaborate with the HR team on all things employee well-being related including: enabling and supporting employee career success, employee advocacy, strategic partnership and business support, equipping employees with appropriate tools and resources, and execution of training programs
  • Own HR programs and project manage those programs from beginning to end using resources inside and out of HR
  • Partner with HR Operations for reporting/analytics to deliver management with data driven proposals and solutions
  • Develop content and materials for training as well as execute and present trainings when necessary
  • Support HR leadership with research, creating new polices & procedures and strategies for building and retaining a diverse workforce
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and provide insight on future hiring needs to ensure we can attract, recruit and retain a strong pool of talent
  • Conduct exit interviews with employees and identify and analyze exit trends.
  • Mentor and train others on the HR team by information sharing with a positive approach and open communication

Here's what we're looking for:
  • BA/BS required
  • 8+ years related experience in Human Resources; Experience in a software/technology company is preferred
  • PHR/SPHR Certification preferred
  • Proven ability to handle conflict resolution, change & innovation, relationship building and influencing
  • Self-starter who is results focused and inspires others
  • Experience working with all levels of staff and ability to effectively communicate to support a remote workforce
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, compensation structures, labor laws, and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with ADP Workforce Now system and report generation a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build relationships across the WO employee and management base
  • Proven ability in taking initiative, juggling multiple projects, working thoughtfully and intentionally
  • Excellent organization skills with proven ability to prioritize tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow up skills due to sensitive nature of the job
  • Ability to operate with flexibility and adapt quickly to a fast-changing environment.
  • Demonstrates confidence, good judgment, positive attitude and is a team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. ​
  • Must be willing to travel to WideOrbit's nationwide offices as needed, however primarily in the Pacific Northwest

Location:

This position will be based in the Bellevue, WA office. Travel to the Lynnwood and Vancouver WA offices as needed.
