Our offices are located in Boston -- across the street from North Station.
What You'll Do
We're seeking an experienced marketer who has a history of building growth through engagement. You will work closely with product, engineering, data science and content teams to drive new user adoption and engagement. You will be responsible for the development of engagement models and execution of tests that drive users to value realization. You will focus on increasing customer engagement to deliver value which yields platform monetization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a data rich and results orientated environment. We have over 2.8 million member already on the platform with and a massive amount of data against which you can build models and tests. This is a rare opportunity to create a SMB subscription base at scale.
Specifically you'll:
  • Define metrics for success at each stage in the users journey
  • Align internal teams around engagement metrics across different personas at different stages of life
  • Optimize user engagement via email and direct messaging
  • Develop a growth marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the engagement of new customers
  • Develop and execute tests from onboarding through end of life to optimize member engagement focused on value realization
  • Continue to evolve thinking on personas, and subsegments to drive an individualized user experience
  • Work closely with the content team to optimize value prop messaging during the buying journey
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate engagement into feature development
  • Market intelligence-be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria
  • Understand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make and drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn
  • Build extensive messaging campaigns to drive increased user engagement and product adoption
Who You Are
A successful Growth Marketer at Alignable will demonstrate the following competencies:
  • You exhibit empathy and can put yourself in the shoes of the user
  • An ability to prioritize workflow and direct teams
  • You've built and optimized emails marketing campaigns at scale
  • You are comfortable getting your hands dirty and implementing your own ideas
  • You are very analytical and comfortable presenting data to all levels of an organization
  • Proficient in developing hook cycles to get users habituated to products
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in product marketing or a related field. 3+ years in B2B or B2C Internet
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is - or isn't - working
  • Familiarity with tools such as FullStory, Looker, Google Analytics
  • Demonstrated history of building user engagement funnels
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and results-driven environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working on a network business is a strong plus
  • BS in Marketing, Mathematics, or Statistics; MBA is a plus
