As the Event Marketing Coordinator for Tonal you'll play a key role in leading the implementation and execution of all Tonal events. You'll be responsible for designing and managing an event program that supports overall sales goals, marketing plans, and expands awareness. A successful candidate will have a marketing background that includes developing and producing multi-channel event programs. Through solid project management, messaging, contract negotiating, budget management and cross-functional relations, you'll help create events that grow Tonal into a leading fitness and lifestyle brand. What You Will Do

  • Develop full event roadmap and plans for showroom and special events, collaborate with partners on pop-up tour
  • Work with cross-functional teams, event agencies and partners to ensure goals, deliverables, schedules and tactics are achieved
  • Plan and execute events that deliver impact, grow engagement, brand awareness, and sales
  • Provide on-site event management for all Tonal events
  • Train and manage event staff
  • Manage and prioritize multiple events from concept through reporting, working within confines of budget and timeline
  • Define and refine event metrics to ensure effective reporting
  • Cultivate strong industry relationships with event partners and agencies
  • Build out a swag/giveaway plan and manage production of all approved items
  • Collaborate with marketing team to continually refine best practices and standards across Tonal, and then build on them for future event planning, execution, and measurement
  • Identify new emerging opportunities, partnerships and influencers to activate our brand and engage with our community

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of marketing events experience
  • Experience in the design and execution of marketing events in the fitness, health, sports or tech industries
  • Highly proficient at project management, juggling multiple events at a time through conception, planning, execution, and recap/reporting
  • Detail oriented with strong creative, analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills, and logistical wizardry
  • You genuinely enjoy building connections and relationships with others, teamwork is a priority and you excel at working with a cross-functional team
  • Interacting with customers is an innate passion and you know what it means to provide excellent customer service
  • Fast learner who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, ready to take on exciting new challenges, and flexibility is your middle name making you highly capable in ambiguous situations
  • Passionate about fitness, health, sports, and/or technology
  • Some nights and weekends required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
