We are looking for exceptional Sr. Account Managers to join our NYC office and be an integral part of the quickly growing team. The Account Management teamdrives revenue through guiding strategic and professional services with our largest and most critical enterprise clients, creating impactful executive level relationships.

You will partner with NewsCred customers to leverage our software platform and content studio in meeting their marketing objectives. You will be empowered to engage customers as a content marketing expert. You will be a key contributor to our extraordinary growth and a mentor to our internal teams. You have an enthusiastic business ethic, a service-oriented ethos, a keen understanding of content marketing, and the talent to forge strong connections with sophisticated clients. You will develop lasting relationships that assist in driving revenue through increased product adoption, increased professional and strategic services, and guidance of our customers on their overall digital marketing priorities.

You will be responsible for the lifetime value of each assigned customer by helping customers realize the economic value of their investment. You will own the ongoing customer relationship and become their trusted advisor. You will develop a deep understanding of each assigned customers industry trends, best practices and business goals with a focus on how Content Marketing drives business value and ROI.

The role of the Account Manager is essential in growing and retaining revenue from strategic customer relationships. The AM functions as an amplifier for the sales organization within customers to optimize execution on renewal, cross sell, and upsell activities as directed within assigned customers.

You will collaborate on business reviews, as well as identify risks within clients, upsell opportunities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to present viable business solutions. You will attend, present and provide leadership at key sponsored and non-sponsored industry events including tradeshows, conferences and VIP roundtables. Travel to customer sites sites and industry events is required.

As an Account Manager, you are the voice of the customer. You will be part of an ambitious and focused team that truly cares about the success of our customers.

Responsibilities:

Build, nurture and grow relationships with our customers, their teams and external agencies to better understand their business challenges and help them to execute against their communication and marketing strategies
Participate in projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research / strategy development, and customer strategy workshops
Proven ability to drive retention and growth across existing and new business lines and markets
Proven ability to assist in negotiating complex contracts, products and services offerings to clients to ensure successful and long term partnerships
Drive accurate revenue forecasts by implementing sales methodologies into the post sale revenue management process
Identify and correct product performance, customer health and retention risk for our customers
Influence product development planning and aid in optimizing the customer experience for the product processes
Qualifications:

6+ years of brand, agency or Saas experience within marketing technology, and content marketing
Demonstrated experience and success working with large, strategic customers (Fortune / FTSE 500)
Proven ability to drive development and execution of global programs in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Outstanding collaborative, team focused work style
Organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly; ability to keep on top of all deliverables with various workstreams
Strong ability to maintain good balance of high-level strategic vision and day-to-day tactical delivery
Skilled at building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executives, thought-leaders and industry groups
Steadfast, solution orientated attitude
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Content marketing experience a plus but not required
