EMEA/APAC Sales Operations Manager

Couchbase is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to lead all sales operations functions for the EMEA and APAC. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales Operations, the right candidate will be a seasoned team player with excellent cross-functional teaming and influencing skills, a deep understanding of sales methodologies including forecasting, compensation, field pricing (deals desk), quota/target setting and territory management. This role will directly support the Vice President of EMEA/APAC Sales and his/her leadership team.

Responsibilities
    • Sales Forecasting - Lead the weekly sales forecast process. This includes publishing KPI and other metrics from CRM, participating in forecast calls, and summarising results for senior leadership review.
    • Deals desk - Review and approve field pricing requests.
    • Contracts and customer quoting - review field requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines. Facilitate legal requests for non-standard contract language.
    • Sales compensation - Serve as an escalation point for compensation related questions from field sales. Partner with Finance/compensation teams to ensure clear answers and timely follow up.
    • Territory management - Partner with Salesforce administrator to ensure sales territories are up to date, accounts are assigned correctly in CRM
    • Annual planning / Quota - Support the Vice President Sales in development of the annual plan. The annual plan includes bookings quota and the definition of sales territories and hiring plans that support it.
    • Quarterly business reviews - Support the QBR process by providing standard templates, facilitating discussion, and summarising results for the Vice President Sales.


Desired Skills
    • Strong experience in Sales operations.
    • Experience supporting a Theatre Sales VP or General Manager
    • Expert user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com.
    • Experience in supporting an Enterprise sales team, selling a software / subscription model.
    • Superior oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to understand and take action on complex business problems with limited direction.
    • Strong process and program definition management skills (detail oriented)
    • BA/BS degree in Business or related field.
    • Flexible working approach, willing to be agile to meet business needs and respond quickly to ad hoc support queries from Sales.
