As the Director of Retention Marketing you will guide Poshmark's engagement strategy and focus on increasing lifetime value and reducing churn through customized and powerful marketing efforts at every stage of the user lifecycle. Responsibilities
  • Own overall performance of user-facing communication channels including: email, push notifications, and in-app notifications
  • Use data to monitor health of marketing programs and identify areas for improvement
  • Prioritize opportunities for improvement; generate data-driven hypotheses that inform strategies for campaigns and initiatives
  • Lead the team through rapid testing cycles; discover and implement strategies to keep the user engaged
  • Communicate key insights and findings to senior management and optimize programs based on data-driven analysis
  • Be the expert on the ideal customer journey; develop a deep understanding of user behavior and how best to leverage it in pursuit of top line growth
  • Manage complex, highly cross-functional initiatives to deliver business requirements, create project plans, and drive on-time execution

Requirements
  • 7+ years relevant marketing experience with increasing responsibility and solid experience in both people management and leadership capacities
  • Expertise should include: positioning and messaging, conversion optimization, A/B testing, lifecycle marketing, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytics background and data-driven, demonstrating the ability to understand key performance drivers and ability to execute against findings
  • Strong understanding of mobile and web products like Poshmark
  • Ability to run and prioritize multiple projects at a time
  • Thrilled with challenges, unknowns and the opportunity to define and build programs
  • Must love mentoring and guiding others; passionate about the advancement of the team.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA is a plus
