The Director of Demand Generation will lead the enterprise-wide revenue marketing effort for NewsCred, including marketing automation, acquisition, marketing operations and analytics. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, the Director will define, communicate and execute a cohesive demand generation strategy and develop the marketing operations and analytics infrastructure to support that effort.

This leader will build the story for the marketing team, the executive team, and the company of how our content is driving revenue from prospects and customers. Using data and working with Sales, the Director will own the big picture of what's working and where optimization is needed. Newscred is a content marketing company, and we must be our own best use case.

The Director of Demand Generation both will lead demand creation strategies, nurturing and conversion efforts for new customers in support of company revenue goals, and also will build programs to nurture and engage customers throughout their lifecycle. This role will own the strategy in applying data and scoring to existing leads, and existing customers, communicating lead priority to the sales and account management teams. The Director will also test efficient ways to generate new marketing qualified leads.

This person will work alongside Content Marketing, Design, Sales Ops, Product Marketing, Go-To-Market and Sales teams, to drive usage and adoption of NewsCred's products, platforms and services so as to attain and accelerate the revenue goals for the business. This position requires a unique blend of technical, creative, analytic and strategic expertise.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Reporting, on behalf of marketing, to sales on touch-points and impact for all key accounts and contacts.
Generate new, qualified leads for the sales team to increase orders and revenue.
Coordinate with go-to-market teams to organize demand generation activities and account-based marketing strategies for named accounts and across territories.
Plan, build and maintain the infrastructure for a personalized and automated connection with key contacts and key account, including market-specific lead generation, lead nurturing, and conversion capabilities.
Represent marketing's contribution to executive and sales leadership with the SVP of Marketing.
Primary duties include:

Storytelling of what's working, where we should double-down, and where we need to optimize.
Ownership of marketing operations, including automation/CRM, martech stack, reporting tools, Google Analytics, prospect contact data and list acquisition
Planning and implementation of outbound campaigns with Field Marketing and Sales, including email campaigns and direct mail
Optimization and reporting of inbound/performance marketing, including SEM/PPC, SEO, retargeting, social etc
Leadership in marketing program management, including cross-team development of GTM strategies for new prospect acquisition, continued prospect engagement, ABM, and channel partnerships
Execute a strategy to build, grow, track, and improve the Demand Generation effort with the goal of growing marketing sourced pipeline and revenue.
Qualifications

8+years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years of B2B demand generation and lead generation marketing. Experience should include oversight of a demand generation function, as well as several years of experience working in support of an Enterprise sales force
Proficient in Salesforce and a marketing automation platform (Marketo, preferred)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate; effectively working across multiple levels, roles, and functions in the organization.
Experience executing email marketing to support demand generation and drive leads to sales. Marketing experience should include use of LinkedIn and other social media channels to generate qualified leads.
Experience with using internal and external data sources and predictive marketing platforms to improve the lead journey through the entire funnel
