TrustRadius ( is changing how business software is bought and sold. We're looking for a smart, energetic, and experienced Content Manager to join our growing team.
In this position you'll manage TrustRadius' editorial calendar and delivery. We have several 'swim lanes' for content publishing:
  • Thought Leadership content fueled by our research and executive team
  • Demand Generation content consisting of monthly eBooks or Webinars to drive registration and leads, along with vendor-focused blog posts to engage potential customers
  • Search-focused blog content to drive organic inbound links, bring software buyers to our site, and engage them
  • On-site content, such as category pages and analysis, created by the Research team
  • Social content to engage both buyers and vendors, as well as raising our thought leadership profile and creating inbound links
Some of this content you'll create, while other content will be created by research team members, marketing team members, or outside contractors. In essence, you'll serve as managing editor, leading cross-functional teams to ensure that the daily, weekly, and monthly publishing deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally to lead TrustRadius' editorial board (with key stakeholders from Marketing and Research) in defining and executing the TrustRadius content strategy.
  • Bring a provocative point of view to our research publishing to differentiate us in the industry.
  • Own the editorial calendar for TrustRadius.
  • Manage the publishing schedule including Research deliverables, Marketing content, and social content.
  • Lead the in-house marketing content function as well as outsourced writers for blog content.
  • Deliver or manage the delivery of high-value gated content (eBooks, webinars, etc) that drives opt-in and fuels demand generation.
  • Find creative ways to use our existing content asset (many thousands of high-quality, long-form software reviews) to fuel content strategy.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team on blog content to drive search results and attract software buyers.
  • Author, or collaborate with TrustRadius execs, on thought leadership blog content aimed at enterprise software vendors.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years' experience
  • A combination of editorial/journalistic and business experience is highly desired
  • Compelling and precise writing and editing skills.
  • Able to mentor and guide both direct reports and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Passionate (you have a strong position on the Oxford comma) but flexible in terms of taking feedback and tailoring to audiences.
  • Data-driven. You judge your work not just on how well it's crafted, but also on how well it engages audiences and achieves its intended purpose, according to data
  • Track record of writing for marketers and business audiences
  • Familiar with and unafraid of tools including Marketo, Google Analytics, Wordpress, Salesforce, Chorus, and more.
  • Experience managing outsourced contractors.
