What you will do:

  • Develop project plans and content for our marketing programs using an integrated approach that combines digital, event, and social media marketing
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence (experience with Pardot or other marketing automation tools would be helpful)
  • Help with event planning and execution
  • Work closely with the sales team to gather feedback and improve marketing and sales enablement materials
  • Manage timelines in order to meet objectives on time
  • Work with team members to plan and execute digital marketing efforts, especially the social media aspect of marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM.
  • Measure and report performance of the above and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the in


What you will bring:
  • A strong portfolio of past success in developing marketing content and running social media & related digital marketing programs in the life sciences space
  • Life sciences and NGS market understanding-be the expert on our customers, who are they, what's important to them and how they engage with digital marketing efforts.
  • A belief that collaboration among multiple partners is the key to delivering great, highly differentiated marketing programs
  • The ability to write extremely readable content and to know good design from bad
  • Comfortable using collaboration, CRM and marketing tools such as Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Power-user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and convert.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • At least 5 years of relevant education and experience, with a minimum of 3 years of prior experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications or Product Marketing in the life science industry.
  • Start-up experience is desirable
  • Higher degree in biological science is highly desirable.
