Poshmark is rapidly expanding its product offering to shoppers, recently opening its doors to include Mens and Kids fashion. These categories have grown dramatically and are just the beginning. The Category Management team is responsible for identifying, launching, and scaling new merchandise categories to drive incremental growth for Poshmark. As a Category Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of new and growing merchandise categories at Poshmark. You will learn the key metrics that drive each category and will use this knowledge to help inform cross-functional projects to drive growth. This role is highly collaborative and will include work with Brand Partnerships, Data, Finance, Marketing, Product, Events and PR teams. The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of business acumen, Product knowledge, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.


Monitor, analyze, and disseminate the key metrics associated with Poshmark's merchandise categories
Work with product team to design and assess performance of custom features to drive success of each category
Collaborate with finance team to build predictive models that inform category growth
Work closely with User Acquisition Marketing team to craft campaigns to acquire new users
Design PR Events with Marketing team to drive external awareness
Research, analyze and suggest new category expansion opportunities
Desired Skills and Experience:

BS/BA required
3-6 years professional experience
Experience using data to drive decision making
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Experience working with product management teams
Strong project management skills with the ability to set and adjust priorities and overcome obstacles
Excellent written and communication skills
Knowledge of the women's and men's fashion landscapes and key players (including non-traditional retailers)
High aptitude for learning new skills and the willingness to tackle new challenges
Experience with Poshmark highly preferred
