Job Description:

The individual in this position will work mostly with existing WideOrbit clients to renew Automation for Radio and Streaming contracts for support and services. As an Associate AE, your primary objective is to establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel at the accounts and promote how WideOrbit can help reach their business goals. To be successful, you will manage expectations around software capabilities, educate customers on our various product offerings, document barriers to product use, and recommend new product features to increase future renewability and reference ability.

Here is what you'll be doing:
  • Manage all things related to support accounts for AFR including new and return business opportunities and contracts, auto-renewals, rate increases, and conflicts
  • Manage collections and ensure timely payments of support renewals & upsell annual contracts to our "per call" customers
  • Act as the liaison between the AFR team and Finance - includes quarterly evaluations (gauging support discounts, keeping below 15%), researching contracts for auditors and work with credit/collection team on behalf of AFR
  • Communicate with customers, evangelize WO products and sell, upsell, cross-sell services and support
  • Help qualify and forward incoming sales leads from Salesforce
  • Process PS, small parts and add on purchases on behalf of AFR sales, from quote to closed
  • Serve as back up to the AFR sales team & WO Streaming sales team for order processing and issue escalations
  • Help maintain integrity of SFDC data incl. station call letter and ownership changes, personnel changes and addresses
  • SFDC reporting and special projects for AFR sales and ops teams as needed
  • Streaming Renewals
  • Bi annual evaluation of barter contracts and revenue
  • Work with inventory and shipping and projects teams regarding shipping or support issues and escalations.
  • Create the sales orders for the AFR sales, including order modifications as needed and all HW sales, RMAs and returns to inventory; update inventory in Avalara database (our sales tax application)

Here is what we're looking for:
  • 3+ years of experience in media or media software with strong knowledge of broadcast operations is required
  • Shows confidence evangelizing WideOrbit's products and services
  • Know how to be resourceful to resolve problems and seek answers independently while raising your hand and engaging internal resources when you identify limitations about what you're able to accomplish independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task manage client initiatives to completion
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of building strong professional relationships with internal and external customers
  • Fluency in MS Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Confidence discussing and using technology with a strong aptitude to learn technical tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate and collaborate with clients and with the WideOrbit team in a productive and positive way
  • Capable of performing 100% independently, while fostering a team-based environment


Vancouver, WA, Coppell, TX, or Telecommute (Telecommuting is an option, but must be within 2-3 hours of the office.)
