We are proud to announce today that Maggie Wilderotter, a seasoned business executive with experience leading both Fortune 500 companies and start-ups, has joined Lyft’s Board of Directors.
“Maggie is a world class executive who brings a wealth of experience to Lyft’s Board,” said Logan Green, co-founder and CEO of Lyft. “Maggie is aligned with Lyft’s vision to transform the way people get around the cities, while ensuring the long term strength of our business. We are delighted to welcome her to Lyft as our second independent director.”
From November 2004 until April 2015, Maggie was CEO of Frontier Communications. She then served as Executive Chairman until April 2016. During her tenure with Frontier, the company grew from a regional telephone company with customer revenues of less than $1 billion to a national broadband, voice and video provider with operations in 29 states, and annualized revenues in excess of $10 billion.
Maggie also has extensive leadership experience, having served on over 30 public company and 10 private company Boards of Directors throughout her career. Maggie currently serves on the Boards of Costco Wholesale Corporation, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cadence Design Systems, and DocuSign as well as a number of private and nonprofit organizations. She is also a Senior Advisor to the Blackstone Group and Atairos Private Equity.
