Lyft x The Texas Craft Brewers Guild

Beer-loving designated drivers rejoice! Lyft is now the official rideshare of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild (TCBG) - a nonprofit that focuses on promoting and educating the public about Texas craft beer and advancing the common interest of Texas craft brewers.

Texas has one of the most vibrant craft beer scenes in the country, and this TCBG and Lyft partnership aims to ensure people can enjoy all that the breweries have to offer with the convenience of on-demand rides.

“Visiting a brewery is a great way to experience handcrafted beer, directly from the source, while tapping into the local community and culture,” said Caroline Wallace, Deputy Director of the TCBG. “We are excited to team up with Lyft to give Texans, along with visiting craft beer enthusiasts, a safe, easy, on-demand way to explore our independent Texas craft breweries!"

“Texas is known for craft beer, and is home to some of the best breweries in the world,” said Aaron Fox, Lyft Central Texas General Manager. “As the TCBG’s official rideshare partner, we are thrilled to help support local brewers, employees and patrons by providing reliable transportation to and from the TCBG’s 200+ member breweries across the state, while offering drivers increased opportunity to earn.”

Here is what the breweries have to say about this exciting new partnership:

"This will be a fantastic way for craft beer fans to experience all the great beer we have in Texas,” said Lennie Ambrose, CMO of Saint Arnold Brewing Company.

“Hosting guests in our tap room is one of our favorite things to do! We are happy to be able to offer Lyft as a safe and easy ride option from our tap room for tourists and locals alike,” said Hops & Grain Brewing Director of Sales & Marketing, Sheila Garcia.

“A visit to our Taproom is the best way for beer fans to get the full Lakewood Brewing experience. Having an easy way for our guests to safely come and go makes that experience even better,” said Lakewood Brewing Company President and Founder, Wim Bens.

Through the partnership, Lyft will offer new user codes to brewery patrons and contribute to a TCBG partnership “bank of ride credits” to help Texas craft beer enthusiasts drink responsibly.

To celebrate the partnership, Lyft is offering 10 percent off rides to TCBG member breweries across the greater Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, and San Antonio areas on April 7 (National Beer Day) and April 8 with the codes below (limited quantities available).
