Central to our mission is a highly programmable chip. Your role will be to support the hardware and software engineers who are designing ASICs and writing code. Keeping the Engineering environment running well is a top priority that requires deep understanding of networks, servers, storage and various applications.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required
BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
7+ years UNIX or Linux Systems Administration
Advanced understanding of Linux Servers running various distributions
Experience supporting and growing networks for engineering teams
Scripting and automation experience with Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
Ability to troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, LDAP, FTP and e-mail issues
Experience supporting Network Appliance and other storage solutions
Ability to rack and stack hardware then update, test, and deploy
Good communication and problem solving skills
Self motivated, independent and proactive
Additional Success Factors
Understanding of data center space/power/cooling calculations and sizing
Experience with supporting Linux build environments and tools
Understanding of setting up and supporting IBM LSF
Working knowledge of authentication systems: Active Directory and LDAP
Virtualization experience with VMware, VirtualBox, KVM, etc
Startup experience
