Outreach is a communication platform built from the ground up to help people communicate more effectively. Today we focus on the sales organization, helping them engage with their prospects and customers through email, calling and LinkedIn communication flows.

To put it into perspective, our customers spend the majority of their day living inside our software, relying on it to be more effective communicators with their audience. We think it’s pretty cool that we get to build the communication platform of the future; a product that our users cherish.

Outreach was founded in 2014, and we are now over 150 employees strong. Since our first days learning about how people communicate, we became obsessed with understanding our customers’ problems, and as a result, we’ve built by far the most loved product on the market, and have won the hearts and minds (and business) of some incredible organizations around the world.

Our company is headquartered in Seattle, but we also have an office in San Francisco and in State College, PA (both for sales and marketing). The Role

As a Sales Engineer you will partner with an Account Executive to showcase the power of Outreach to potential customers. In doing so, you will drive revenue for the company by managing compelling solution-based value propositions that address the prospect’s critical needs. You will conduct product demos, manage technical validation activities (including proof-of-concept exercises and pilots), and ultimately help develop the business case for the prospect during the sales cycle.



Your Daily Adventures Will Include

Solving Problems for Potential Customers

Partner with the Account Executive to discover and understand the prospect's situation and the challenges that they are experiencing
Work with a variety of stakeholders to understand their existing processes and craft solutions using Outreach
Provide your prospects with insights and learnings from your vast experience in helping customers improve their business / sales development processes
Drive adoption during pilots by training individual users on the Outreach application and general sales process best practices
Demonstrating Value of Outreach

Translate prospect use cases into brilliant technical solutions with the Outreach application and demonstrate the path to ROI
Deliver captivating product demos highlighting value propositions to get prospects fired up about how Outreach will help them exceed their goals
Manage any technical validation events to successful conclusion ensuring the prospects confidence in the Outreach technology
Working With The Outreach Team

Share your selling and technical experience with the rest of the Outreach field team and make contributions to the sales, product, marketing, and success teams
Assist other Solution Consultants in the execution of the above responsibilities
Provide feedback to product management about the successes and failures in the field

You have good knowledge of Salesforce.com, general sales processes, and sales development methodologies
You have 7+ years of solid experience in a customer facing role and 4+ years of experience in a technical sales role selling to large enterprises
